When I stopped at Laura & Alex's to drop off the photos from their couples session I was introduced to quite the little family of kittens. If this doesn't make you smile, I don't know what would.. except maybe puppies :)
O'Lev is a jewelry collection designed by two very talented woman. They will be putting a show on in October in Windsor. I am honoured to not only have photographed their work for the show, but to have also been invited to be a part of the show. I will be featuring my Underneath series for them :)
It's been over a year, and these two are just as much in love as on their wedding day. They radiate when they are around each other and its beautiful to see.
I hold a special place in my heart for these two :) Here's a sneak peak until the rest go up!!
I'm not hip enough to have an I-Phone (yet) but I did get really excited that Laura & Alex were ok with me taking some photos with my Diana +! If you know the lab techs at my lab, they hate developing the film from my Diana + because it rarely turns out... but....
Laura messaged me a few months back. She had been following my work for a while and wanted to know if she could get some photos of her boyfriend Alex and herself for the bare walls of their new apartment. I jumped at the opportunity to meet up with them and create some really fun & beautiful images. They were adorable and an absolute pleasure to work with. When I dropped the photos off at their place I got to meet their lovely little family of kittens. I will post those photos soon, but for now I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!!
Two weeks ago during the crazy thunderstorm I was spending the night with some AMAZING people. I was working on a series called Underneath. Meg, Christian, Paul, Tamara, Cait, Glyn, Dan and my wonderful makeup artist Heather blew me away with their suppport and all around fantastic energy. I cant wait to share the images from the series which will be on display at a Gallery in Windsor the last week of October 09, but in the meantime here are some of the "outtakes". xo
I went to London a few weeks back to do a maternity shoot with the beautiful Rochelle and her very pregnant belly. There was a gorgeous field by her house that we photographed her at.
Rochelle was my babysitter when I was younger. In the past few years we haven't been in contact but a few months back, through the powers of facebook, we got back in touch. She asked me to come to London and I was so very touched & excited. I had such a great time chatting with her while we photographed. She was up for everything I suggested and blew me away with some of her own ideas. It was a wonderful session and I am so looking forward to seeing them again!
Bexi and I created one of my most favourite shoots to date. It was sexy and every part just made me scream "I love this, I love my job and you are amazing!!" It left me with a huge smile and tons tons of mosquito bites - again.
Shaun & Meg are going on their second anniversary this August. I was their wedding photographer and quite an honour it was to be a part of their special day. The three of us all know each other from York U. We knew each other through the theatre department, Winters College and The Absinthe Pub where we all worked at one time or another.
This was a special session for me because its couples like Shaun & Meg that show how great love is at any stage of the relationship. They care so deeply for one another and it's a really beautiful thing to see.
